Dave Rosser, contacted The Washington back in September 2013 to plan his daughter Juli's reception. He only had one request that no other facility would honor. He wanted to serve homemade bottles of wine he makes himself. It was his hobby, his talent and he wanted to share his love and joy of wine with his family and friends. They were beyond thrilled that we would accommodate their desire. They booked for May 3, 2014 as their reception date as they were going to get married on a cruise to the Bahamas. About 3 months later, I received an email from Juli apologizing for a strange request to change her date. She had a little secrete and wanted to have her wedding and reception before her belly was too big to enjoy! We switched to an earlier available date to 2/22/14 and her Reception went off with a hit! The wine was a hit with the guests! Who said you can't look, feel and have the time of your life when you are expecting a little bundle of joy! You can celebrate two of the happiest moments in your life together!!
The Washington wants to accommodate any bride however feasible. If its changing dates because of unexpected pleasant surprises or require flexibility and support in other ways, we are here for you to make sure your event is a hit!
