Celebrating Baby #3 or #4? Celebrate with a Baby Sprinkle!

Everyone has heard of a Baby Shower celebration, but what about a Baby Sprinkle? A Baby Sprinkle is a relatively new idea which helps mothers to be celebrate the birth of baby #2, #3 or son on. While it is never wrong to celebrate the arrival of a new baby, throwing an all out shower for subsequent children is often frowned upon.  

Baby Sprinkles are often simpler than original Showers and more intimate -only close family and friends. With more people having gaps between their children, it's hard to keep up with the changing parenting trends when you are out of the baby phase. Not just that, baby car seats and everything baby related is continuously changing so what you may have been used to for your first two children, could be very different for your future children. 

This was exactly the case for the beautiful mom-to-be Tara Monzo-Hull, who celebrated her Baby Sprinkle at The Washington on March 2nd, 2014. Tara is mom to 3 beautiful boys and will be a mother to her 4th baby boy, Luke,  by the end of the month. It's been 12 1/2 years since she had a baby shower with her first son so a Baby Sprinkle was certainly in need!!

For Baby Sprinkle's a great activity is creating onesies and sharing gifts with the Mom-to-be about things she hasn't used for a very long time! So much changes each year, so keeping the mom appraised on new techniques and gadgets is a fun way to connect and educate the new momma! If you are having your baby's relatively close in age, you don't have to have gifts at Sprinkles. It can be an intimate gathering with fun, food and laughter!
