                                                  Meyer Photography

1.       What services do you specialize in?

We specialize in wedding photography. We also photograph events and family portraits on location.

2.      How did you decide to create your small business?

Rich: I have been interested in photography since I was a teenager and got more involved as a student at Arizona State University. I became a staff photographer for a newspaper and started photographing weddings in my early 20's. I apprenticed for a wedding photographer and opened my own business in Ridgewood, NJ. We then moved our studio to Manhattan where we did weddings as well as advertising photography.
Mary Ellen: I have always been interested in art and photography and minored in Art History at William Paterson University. I also apprenticed to a wedding photographer. After Rich and I married, I assisted Rich and then became a partner in the studio, photographing full time.

3.      What are you most passionate about in your line of work?

We love photographing the Bride and Groom and doing the best we can for them on their wedding day - capturing the emotions and important moments of the day.

4.      What makes you stand apart from other service providers?

As a husband and wife team, we combine our years of experience. We work together so well and have a unified vision, but also bring our individual perspectives to the day.  Our post-capture enhancements, attention to detail, our professionalism  and unobtrusive style set us apart.

5.      What is your purpose, mission or tagline?

We strive to give the Bride and Groom the most beautiful and memorable images of their wedding day - one of the happiest days of their lives.

6.      What do you enjoy the most about your business?

It is wonderful to have a business that we love and look forward to. We are blessed to share this important day with a couple in love.

7.      Are there any new trends, tips or advice for events/weddings in 2013?

We suggest that Brides and Groom book their professional vendors as soon as they can.
As a husband and wife team, we do not hire other photographers..Once we are booked, we
are committed for that day.
We also suggest that the Bride and Groom see each other before the Ceremony, if possible.
We help to make the “first look” a special moment, and take photographs at this time, so they
can enjoy their cocktail hour and the fabulous food.

8.      Are you running any specials for 2013? If applicable…

If you mention “The Washington” when you book us to photograph your wedding,
we will add a custom 16x20 enlargement of one of your wedding images to your photography package.

We mostly work as a team, but if you are having a more intimate, smaller wedding or event,
we might recommend a photography package with one photographer.

We have many custom albums to choose from and we try to provide a package that suits your wants and needs.

9.      What other hobbies do you like to do in your free time aside from your business?

We are both interested in music, reading, movies and traveling. Rich enjoys exercise and
Mary Ellen loves gardening and crafts.

10.   Anything that you would like your target customers to know about you, your service, your business etc.?

We are located approx. 4 miles from The Washington. We have evening appointments up until
9:00 PM and weekends, if we are not photographing a wedding.

Please visit our website www.richmeyerphoto.com and call us for your personal consultation.
856-307-9071. We are looking forward to meeting you and hearing about your wedding day.
